    About Us

    Saskatchewan's province-wide asbestos abatement specialists

Sask Asbestos Removal was built to do one thing well: identify and safely remove asbestos-containing materials anywhere in Saskatchewan, following full regulatory containment and clearance protocols, no shortcuts, no fear-mongering, just competent hazardous-materials work.

    Who We Are

A focused abatement company, not a general contractor

We don't do general renovations, drywall, or painting. We do asbestos, testing, removal, and clearance, and we do it across the entire province. That focus means our equipment, training, and procedures are built specifically for hazardous-materials work.

Saskatchewan has a real gap in asbestos abatement coverage: most contractors are based in Saskatoon or Regina and don't travel, leaving rural, northern, and smaller-city properties without service. We were built to close that gap with a mobile, province-wide team.

    What we do

    • Asbestos testing and accredited lab analysis
    • Residential, commercial, and industrial abatement
    • Vermiculite, popcorn ceiling, flooring, and pipe insulation removal
    • Pre-demolition and pre-renovation asbestos surveys
    • Emergency response for accidental disturbance
    • Clearance testing and disposal documentation
    Our Approach to Safety

    Containment, HEPA, and clearance, explained

Asbestos removal isn't just about scraping material out. It's about making sure fibres never reach the air outside the work area. Here's how we do that, in plain language.

    1

    Containment

The work area is sealed under heavy poly sheeting with taped seams, creating an enclosure isolated from the rest of the building.

    2

    Negative air pressure

HEPA-filtered air scrubbers maintain negative pressure inside the enclosure so any leakage draws air in, not out, keeping fibres contained.

    3

    Wet suppression

Materials are kept wet during removal to suppress fibre release at the source, rather than relying on cleanup after the fact.

    4

    Decontamination unit

A sealed entry/exit chamber with a wash station ensures workers and equipment don't carry fibres out of the enclosure.

    5

    PPE

Workers wear full protective equipment including respirators with P100/HEPA filtration, disposable suits, and gloves.

    6

    Clearance testing

After removal, air and surface sampling confirms the area is safe to re-enter before the containment comes down.

    Regulatory Compliance

An honest note about certification in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan currently has no formal, government-issued certification standard specifically for asbestos abatement contractors. We won't claim a credential that doesn't exist. What we do commit to, and what we believe genuinely differentiates responsible abatement work, is following the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020 (Part XXIII) in full on every project.

That means the 14-day high-risk process notification where required, proper containment and negative-pressure protocols, HEPA filtration, sealed decontamination, licensed waste disposal, and documented clearance testing. These aren't marketing claims, they're the regulatory floor, and we treat them as the minimum, not the goal.

    Health & Safety First

Every decision starts from protecting occupants, workers, and the surrounding environment. Full containment, HEPA-filtered negative air, wet suppression, and sealed decontamination aren't optional extras, they're the baseline of how we work.

    Regulatory Compliance

We follow Saskatchewan's Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020 (Part XXIII) on every job, including the 14-day high-risk process notification, containment standards, and clearance testing. We file notifications and document everything.

    Documented Clearance

You receive lab results, an abatement work record, and a clearance certificate with air-monitoring data. These documents support insurance, permits, property sale, and future renovation.

    Province-Wide Access

Most abatement contractors stay in the cities. We're built to serve the whole province, including rural communities, farms, and northern Saskatchewan, because asbestos risk doesn't stop at city limits.

Why We Serve the Whole Province

Asbestos risk doesn't stop at city limits

Older farmhouses, acreages, cabins, and northern community buildings carry the same pre-1990 asbestos materials as city homes, but they're often the last to get professional abatement service because most contractors won't travel. We will.

Our mobile team is equipped to bring full containment and HEPA protocols to any property in Saskatchewan, including remote communities that have no local abatement contractor. The process and documentation are identical whether the job is in Saskatoon or a farmstead two hours past the last town.
